Saw Some Stuff

In March 2017, Ian and I went on a trip to Scottsdale, Arizona with my family and we decided to take our own little side trip to the Grand Canyon and Page, Arizona, for a few days. On this little adventure, we went to the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyons, and Horse Shoe Bend.

First, we went to Grand Canyon. It was about a 4 hour drive from Scottsdale. We took the South Rim Trail. We went down the trail all the way to Ooh Ahh point and then turned around and went back up. Took us probably about 2 hours round trip, but we took our time and took a lot of pictures along the way. Since we went in the winter, it was pretty warm near Scottsdale, but felt pretty cold in the canyons. The trail is probably medium difficulty, especially getting back up is pretty steep in some spots and a lot of steps. One day, we plan to do a backpacking trip and hike the entire Grand Canyon.
